THE FUTURE!!! The future is SCARY! People use bullshit METHODS to try to PREDICT the future. Here is a bullshit method to make YOU feel good about THE FUTURE, without actually helping anything. It's like a placebo, but not as good.
And yup, the whole argument to soften you up for the conversion attempt is "Shit happens."

To be fair, this one at least has some interesting arguments. But what it leads up to kinda contradicts the earlier statement of the whole life is uncertain argument.
